I put my 2.5 year old at the time to bed. My husband had purchased a coffee maker earlier that used K-cups. I had no idea my daughter had a stash of K-cups in her room. After 10 mins I heard her up and playing. I went to check on her and saw she had poked a hole through all the K-cups and dumped them all over her bed.

So my brother decided to do my mom a favour and repaint her walls inside her house. Then put the leftover paint in the garage….. didn’t close the paint tins properly…. NEVERRRRRR leave half open paint tins within reach of aspiring artists ( that happen to be two years old)…. I think it’s safe to say that it will take a long time for my moms sense of humor to be restored :-)

The other morning while my sister in law was in the shower, my 5 year-old nephew took a stick to the TV and beat it until it completely broke, as evidenced by the above picture. This act was so out of character for him and I couldn’t figure out why he would do this.
It wasn’t until I asked what he was watching at the time that it all became very clear. He’d been watching “Curious George’s Birthday” which is all about a piñata, and I guess he just wanted to join in on the fun, not thinking that it would actually break the TV.  He had just hit a piñata over the weekend for a birthday party, so I guess it was just a little too fresh in his mind.

My husband and I tried to fix our plasma tv and we needed another part for it. It had sound but no picture. So it was unplugged and unattached from the Wii and dvd player. My 3 yr old son pushed it over and was trying to change the batteries. Yes, he was helping us. We’re just happy he was not hurt when the thing fell over from the stand.

Jake felt the 20 pack of toilet paper was too much. He made sure to throw the cat under the bus with him by saying she was the one playing in it.

Yeah, so this happened. Three 7 year-olds on sleepover plus a three year-old, plus me making dinner downstairs and distracted equals, well, this!  Couch used as a trampoline and a sideways tree. Note fallen angel in foreground.

I have a 6 year old autistic son. He loves to play with brooms. He was doing so last Friday, and unfortunately the dog ran in front of him, tripping him. That sent the broom flying in the air, and it landed on my Macbook Pro’s glass touchpad. (which i didn’t know it was glass, or that it COULD break!)
Thanks to Apple’s awesome products, the WHOLE thing still works!
